Vanessa was raised in Augusta, KS. She attended Wichita Area Vo-tech School and became a certified dental assistant. She worked for four years in a dental research program administered through the Wichita Public School system. Vanessa then attended Wichita State University and graduated in May of 1983 with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Administration. Vanessa has been working at Scheer Dentistry since October 1998.
Vanessa is married to Jeff and has two beautiful daughters, Hailey and Taylor. Outside the office, she spends time hiking, boating, kayaking or just relaxing with her children, grandchildren, and friends at Table Rock Lake. Her hobbies are cross stitching and handbell choir at her church.
